ORMR protection

graduate project

"ORMR protection" is a graduate project that my team and I are currently working on. Stay up to date on our research and development of new hockey gear.

"FIRST LINE", TV show about women's hockey

One of a kind project

I was a co-author, casting director, and marketing guru for this very unique TV project; a documentary/reality show which aired regularly on a national sports channel in Russia. It was about a hockey team that consisted of women that knew nothing about hockey. For several seasons, girls trained on the ice, participated in local tournaments, and even were invited to play in one of the closing matches for KHL. The whole country followed the project. It created a new movement in a very male dominant sport. Since the very day the project aired, more and more women's team started to pop in all major cities.

I WANT, I CAN, I DO

Clothing line

"Хочу, Могу, Буду" or "I WANT, I CAN, I DO" is a brand of clothing that was created for the sole purpose of helping children with disabilities and/or low income families to be able to play ice hockey.

EASTON RAPTOR

Lacrosse helmet

RAPTOR was a very first and definitely one of a kind helmet for Easton Lacrosse. It was heavily inspired by one of my favorite video games "HALO" - very tech, yet clean with a hint of cyber punk. It was THE lightest helmet on the market.

EASTON PREDATOR

Innovative Lacrosse Helmet

Easton's second lacrosse helmet. It was meant to upstage the unusual success of the RAPTOR. We called it the ULTIMATE PREDATOR. Incredible two shell design, new cage and attachment methods, and (of course) lightness what made this product outstanding.

FIT SYSTEM

Great fit = better protection

I have worked on a few systems for bike, hockey, and lacrosse helmets, but this one stood out the most due to its design language - very Star Wars, very much Dark Side.

PROTECTIVE HEAD GEAR

Women's lacrosse helmet

The idea behind the project came from a need for head protection for girls in lacrosse. Many would suffer cuts and bruises during games but yet were not allowed to wear a helmet. This design was meant to be a headgear with some face, ear, and head protection without being a helmet.

KID HELMETS

Simple things are never easy

As a part of multi-sport design team I had an opportunity to work on a couple of the kid helmets for both American and European markets.

HOCKEY DOODLES

Hockey is my passion

There are a few of my ideation ideas for many hockey brainstorming meetings I had a chance to be a part of.

FOOTWEAR

Shoes I made

Footwear (or sneakers) has always been at the top of my "favorite things" list. I am in a constant pursuit to learn more, hence my obsession with understanding how things come to life. These are some of my projects.

University of Oregon, MS in Sports Product Management

Graduate School

The Sports Product Management Graduate Program uses industry legends to teach students like myself the business of creating and brining to market sports and outdoor apparel, footwear, and equipment. This is my SPM journey.

ART

Other passions

Creating art is one of my favorite non active activities. I work with clay, watercolor, acrylic paint, digital painting, and even some photography.

SWIMMING

I was terrified of the water for the most of my life, until a few years ago; I am now not only a swim addict but have already participated in my first competition (100 meter freestyle) and received a medal for finishing 2nd.

BOX // MMA // KRAV MAGA

Some people prefer yoga when they want to relax, I choose martial arts.

ICE HOCKEY

I am a proud member of a 'beer league' community and hockey is a very permanent feature in my life. I love everything about the sport: the speed, camaraderie, occasional chirping, and even the smell of dirty hockey gear.
